Terms & Conditions

By booking or attending coaching sessions with Sandy Toad Sea Swimmers (via Eola) you understand and accept these terms and conditions as they form part of a contract between us.

At any time Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers reserves the right to vary these T &C.

Swimming Sessions

Staff – Participant ratios: our sessions do not exceed recommended guidelines or insurance ratios. Group sessions will be categorized on ability and will not exceed eight pupils. There will always be two people, either in the water or one in the water and the other on the shore. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult, either in the water or on the shore.

Please arrive in sufficient time to allow for the session to start as scheduled.

Weather & Water Temperature

Weather and water temperature will be monitored by Sandy Toad Sea Swimmers and the duration of the session may be adapted accordingly.

Parking & valuables

Parking and leaving your valuables unattended are at your own risk. Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers do not accept any liability for your car or personal possessions.

Photography/electronic devices

Please note during our sessions photos and video recordings are not permitted unless all participants are in agreement. If any participant is under 18, permission must be given by their parents or guardian. Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers will not publish photos or videos on social media or websites without prior agreement.

Pre-Course questionnaire & disclaimer

All pupils must complete and return a pre-course questionnaire before their first session begins.  Any amendments from previous sessions, Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers must be notified. A disclaimer must also be signed by all participants and signed by a parent /guardian if under 18 years.

In The Event of an Emergency

In the event of an emergency, all pupils will immediately stop, exit the water and wait for further instructions. Sandy Toed Sea swimmers will always abide by its Emergency Action Plan and Normal Operating Procedures.

Data protection (GDPR 2018)

Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers will only collect the necessary information that is needed for our booking process and facilitating sessions. This information will not be sold or passed on to any third party.

Cancelled/postponed sessions

Should Sandy Toed sea swimmers need to cancel/ postpone a session due to bad weather or unsafe tidal conditions a full refund will be given, or credit will be carried over to the next suitable available session.

Should a pupil need to cancel, a credit will be offered at Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers’ discretion.

Bookings & Payments

Bookings and payments will be made through our online booking system, Eola Ltd. If you need to book or pay via another method please contact us.

Junior & Children’s Safety Sessions

All under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All swimmers are required to wear a tow float and a brightly coloured swimming hat. During our junior sessions, a full wet suit, neoprene gloves, and socks/boots must be worn.  A shortie wet suit can be worn in the warmer months. A full or shortie wet suit is required for our Children’s safety sessions, neoprene gloves, and socks/boots are optional.
